Real Passion, Real Love
Meet the Founders
We are Yusef Ramelize and Samira Abdul-Karim, a couple from Atlanta, Georgia, with a deep commitment to creating a more just world and an unwavering belief in humanity’s ability to achieve it. Our approach to fostering stronger, more connected workplace cultures is shaped by our experiences as Black Muslim American professionals—identities that, when considered individually, connect us to billions of people, yet together form a unique perspective that informs everything we do.
We value the richness of our identities and believe that everyone should have the space to bring their full selves into their work without feeling the need to hide or mute any part of who they are. When organizations tap into both the commonalities and uniqueness that individuals bring, their impact and success can grow exponentially.
Samira is thoughtful, inviting, direct, and process-focused. She has guided thousands of people through meaningful culture change and holds a master’s degree in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. Yusef is creative, energetic, perseverant, and outcomes-driven, with experience spanning design, project management, and communications. He holds a master’s degree in Strategic Communications & Design, also from Columbia University.
With over 35 years of combined experience, we are dedicated to helping organizations cultivate environments where people feel valued, connected, and empowered to thrive. Our motivation is personal—we want to shape a world where our children’s values are unquestioned, and their voices are celebrated. By guiding organizations to implement sustainable, meaningful change, we hope to create a future where every individual, especially those from marginalized communities, can belong and succeed.
Lots of Love,
Samira & Yusef
